Dear Koh Samui Guests

For almost 30 years, a philosophy of Tourism Association of Koh Samui is to "take care of our guests, our members and alliances.” The unexpected and unpleasant situation of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), which the World Health Organization declared a pandemic made all of us feeling stressful and challenged to strictly follow our policy even though we have experienced various situations during the past 10 years.

We are frequently monitoring the COVID-19 situation from World Health Organization and Ministry of Public Health of Thailand report and announcement. Besides, we follow all advices and enforcement from the government in place to ensure a healthy stay at our hotel members.

In this current situation, to plan your future travel may not be your preference; however, we would like you to know that the safety of our guests, member and alliances is significant. By this, therefore, we have set up new policies for upcoming new bookings and existing bookings to avoid the risk and any uncertain circumstances that may happen.

When You are making the decision

Please be confident that we are doing everything we can to have accommodations ready for you. We are closely monitoring the World Health Organization (WHO) and Ministry of Public Health of Thailand for the latest information and advices related to COVID-19 and following the guidance of government and public health officials. We are reinforcing these agencies’ recommendations on the appropriate health and safety measures within our hotel members.

Before Your Holiday

From the unexpected rapid widespread of COVID-19 and according to our philosophy, our hotel members have created new policy regarding reservation amendment and cancellation over the past several weeks in compliance with this epidemic. Briefly speaking, for guests with existing reservations, including reservations with pre-paid rates or non refundable that are typically restricted, most of our hotel members will allow changes up to 3 days prior to arrival as long as the change or cancellation is made by April 30, 2020. For guests making new reservations we will allow those reservations to be changed at no charge up to 7 days before a guest’s scheduled arrival date if travel restrictions are still in place during your period of stay. We would recommend you to contact your hotel for the latest cancellation and amendment policies.

During Your Holiday

At the present, we were informed by our local government agency that there are not any tourists or residents who are infected with the COVID-19. However, we are always aware of the widespread of the virus and strictly following the latest guidance from the World Health Organization and Ministry of Public Health of Thailand on hygiene and cleaning. Our members’ health and safety measures are designed to address a broad spectrum of viruses, including COVID-19, and cover everything from handwashing hygiene and cleaning product specifications to guest room and common area cleaning procedures. Each room is deep cleaned and sanitized before every check in.
